4.   Our AI Compliance Assistant — Dan

We want to be upfront and clear about how our AI assistant works, because we think transparency here is important.

How we designed Dan to protect your privacy.

Dan answers general compliance questions — things like how AML/CTF Tranche 2 applies to real estate agents, what ISO 9001 involves, and what AUSTRAC deadlines look like. Dan is specifically designed not to collect your personal information.

If you share personal details in the chat, Dan will redirect you to our secure Australian booking form — where your details are stored on Australian servers.

Here is the full picture of how Dan works:

  • Dan answers general compliance questions only — not personal or sensitive information
  • Dan does not ask for, collect, or store your name, email, phone number, or business details
  • All personal details you provide go through our Australian-hosted booking form
  • Dan uses Anthropic's Claude AI technology to generate responses. Conversation text is processed to generate a reply and is not stored or used to train AI models
  • Dan can search the web for current AUSTRAC guidance and regulatory updates — so his information is always current

Because Dan handles general compliance questions only — not personal information — your privacy is protected by design, not just by policy.

5.   Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Full stop.

The only circumstances in which we share information are:

  • Technology providers who help us operate our website and systems — under strict confidentiality agreements. These providers are used only to the extent necessary to deliver our services to you.
  • Regulators or law enforcement — only where required by Australian law.
  • With your explicit consent — for any other purpose.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you for third-party marketing, and we do not participate in data broker arrangements of any kind.

6.   How We Protect Your Information

We apply practical, real security measures — not just policy statements:

  • All Lead Comply websites use encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) — you will see the padlock in your browser
  • Our client portal uses password-protected login with session security
  • Access to client information is limited to Lead Comply personnel who need it to do their job
  • We do not store passwords in plain text
  • We use reputable Australian-hosted providers with their own security practices

If you ever have a concern about the security of your information, contact us immediately at info@leadcomply.com.au.

7.   How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information only as long as we need it:
